GEOFLEX, using CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales - The French government space agency) patents, is operator of new GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) augmentation services based on the CNES PPP-WIZARD technology (Precise Point Positioning).

The CNES and GEOFLEX had signed, on 28th June 2016, during the Toulouse Space Show, an exclusive and worldwide agreement to industrialize and commercialize the CNES PPP-WIZARD technology.

The CNES PPP-WIZARD technology

An accuracy of few centimeters, everywhere in the world, all the time, without any fixed GNSS base station(s) close to the user.

The CNES PPP-WIZARD technology consists to augment GNSS, that is the different positioning and navigation satellite systems such as GPS, GLONASS, BEIDOU and GALILEO.

This technology consists to model and estimate in real time the different errors linked to the GNSS measurements, due to satellites, composition of the different atmospheric layers penetrated by signals, or to the user’s receiver.

All modeled errors (orbits, clocks and satellites biases, and even in some cases, excess of pseudo-distance due to the atmospheric refraction) are sent to the receiver of the user as terms of corrections to augment the accuracy and the integrity of its PVT (Position, Velocity, Times) solution.

Contrary to differential techniques requiring one or several fixed GNSS stations close to the user in order to mitigate by differentiation of observations the different families of errors on the basis that they are spatially correlated, the CNES PPP-WIZARD technology allows to reach the same class of precision than RTK, but without the need of any fixed GNSS station in the surrounding area.

The accuracy, everywhere in the world, all the time, with integrity by nature, without any RTK base station or local NRTK service.
